WEEKLY RUMINATIONS

It is Friday already.  This week absolutely flew by.  So it is time to let it all hang out folks.  Lets hear about the great things that happened and the not so great things that happened this week.  I am here to cheer and to sympathize if necessary.  No accomplishment or problem is too small.  I like to hear em all.

Lets get to it…What are you ruminating on?

I’m proud this morning of actually getting myself out of the house and down to the neighborhood barbershop for a good short haircut. Now I won’t need to have my cadre of stylists at beck-and-call while in the hospital (awaiting the throngs of visitors who will descend upon me like the proverbial locusts) – and my hair is so short that I won’t need another haircut for weeks and weeks, after I’m able to get around again.

Meanwhile, my apartment is still a royal mess – but I’ve decided to do what little I can to remedy that, and leave the rest to the Universe to sort out. I can live with a certain amount of chaos when necessary.

My world is very small and self-absorbed at the moment, as should be obvious. And I suspect that I’m (not-very-effectively) masking a growing case of the pre-surgery jitters. Thanks for indulging me! 🙂

At last – a diary that didn’t post at 4 AM my time!

My week was a mixed bag. I had to stop letting my cats have dry food because it’s making one of them sick, so most of the week was spent opening cans. However, the change was good for himself, and now I can spot clean the carpets.

I’m dealing with a few health issues, but – BUT! – it snowed on Pikes Peak. And it’s snowing right now. We desperately need gobs and gobs of it, but this is a good start.

    How was  your week?

Just finished a brunch of oatmeal with cooked apples and cinnamon, yum. Luckily I like oatmeal, and it’s good for blood sugar levels and cholesterol. So anyone with diabetes tendencies and high cholesterol, take note!
