Since 2008 – Progress Through Politics

My GBCW(fn) to the Moose

Well Motley Moose, you have finally done me in. You people are just too damned good. I cannot stand it any longer. I am leaving this blog and taking my simplistic notions, my need for concrete answers, and my hate and vitriol with me. How much rational and thoughtful dialogue can one person handle? I have reached my limit. The level of information, substance and depth at the Moose is too much. I cannot take it anymore. Well, that and I am moving. But thank goodness I am, because I think the quality here could overwhelm anyone. Holy shit, I actually have hope for the first time in many years. That cannot be good.

I may surf when able, but am not planning on restarting my full on internet access for a while. I need to get some work done on my computer and the internets are getting spendy. Less time spent on the interverse might not be so bad either. I may have decent access to messaging and email, so I will not be completely cut off. However, my infrequent posts will cease all together this week. Let us see how long I can hold out before getting another server. While I will miss surfing (though perhaps I will have that as well, on the phone device), I will not miss having to think so bloody hard. Damn you people and your significant thoughts, ideas and critical analysis!

And don’t think for a moment how you all have ruined me for any other web-site. After you have had the Moose, what else is there? You fracking bastids, look what you have done to me!

Tubes for the Week of April 13 through April 17, 2009

Another week, another dollar. Whoa…wait…when the hell did I get a raise?

Monday April 13, 2009 in 100 seconds.

Why does shooting people in this manner seem to give so many guys hard-ons?

Palin is getting worse. Is that even possible? Headzup explains.

In the words of a great thinker: “She sucks”.

Ok, more men using gun violence as viagra…oh wait. PUPPY. Aw, isn’t he a cute widdle biddle bubby.

On a more personal note, the Minnesota Senate grinds on. It needs to be over. I know the truth hurts Norm, but listen to Jughead and quit holding Minnesota’s second Senate seat hostage for the republican party.

If you have even a shred of dignity left Norm, just go away for all of our sakes (including your own).

Weekly Tubes ~ April 10, 9, and 8, 2009

I am still trying to keep up with the tubes, but will be going off line for the most part after next week, and am not sure when I will be back on at full capacity. I apparently can surf the net on my phone and hope to keep in touch that way, but the Daily Tubes may have to take a hiatus after this next week.

We are moving, and I expect that activity to consume all of my time for the immediate future. On the bright side, the move will be good once it is over. I realized that I have moved more times than I care to count. My family and I moved at least 10 times by my 18th birthday. Suffice it to say I am tired of relocating and hope to stay in our new home for a very long time.

Shaft! You’re damn right.

Thursday April 9, 2009 in 100 seconds.

Ahoy matey, please don’t give Pat and that other guy guns. Gotta love the armchair analysis. Do they ever get ashamed of being wrong so much?

So very true. Join my cult and we can all rule the world together.

Republicans Have Discovered Teabagging! **Updated**

Too funny not to share.

From Huffington post and the Rachel Maddow Show.

Tonight, on the Rachel Maddow Show, Maddow and regular guest, Air America’s Ana Marie Cox, discussed the fringetastic anti-tax Renaissance Faires known as “tea parties.” There is only one thing in all the world worth noting about the people behind these things, and it is this: everyone involved is apparently unaware of what the term “teabagging” means. As you will see, this is not the case with Maddow and Cox.

“Now, no laughing off set or I will lose it!” begged Maddow, “I’m only barely making it through as it is.” She said this BEFORE Cox joined the segment. From there, it just got better: “Who wouldn’t want to tea bag John McCain?” Cox asked. “This is all part of the midterm strategy,” added. You know it’s going to be teabagging 24/7 when it comes to the midterms.” And it shall be. Of this you can be certain.

I really do not have to say anything more. You all enjoy this, now. I’m just going to show myself out. Good night!

Heh. Rachel rulz.

It is Crazy in Minnesota

It is absolutely clear that the Representative of Minnesota’s 6th congressional district is a complete lunatic. Michele Marie Bachmann (born on April 6, 1956) is a Republican politician and is as crazy as a bedbug. Follow the tubes if you can and see what I mean.

Daily Tubes April 3, 2 and 1, 2009

President Obama had a very good week in Europe. Queen Elizabeth apparently initiated a semi hug with Michelle Obama, which seemed to astound the world. However, the President was able to restrain himself from giving the Queen (or anyone else) a back rub.

Why does fox seem so strange to me?

Thursday April 2, 2009 in 100 seconds.

“Hat’s off to that cat.” Indeed.

Wednesday April 1, 2009 in 100 seconds.

Apparently, so is President Obama. I cannot write that name enough. President Obama. It has been a long eight years and it is good to have a President again.

Daily Tubes Monday April 6 and Tuesday April 7, 2009

Real life is kicking my butt these days and will continue to do so for a few more weeks. The good news is we found a great house and are in the actual process of moving. The bad news is we are moving. I can think of nothing worse than packing up all of my belongings, and taking them to a new place, only to unpack them again. Ah well, it will be over soon.

Tuesday April 7, 2009 in 100 seconds.

Oh noes. Poor Minnesota. Please pity us only having one functioning Senator, and a lunatic Congresswoman.

A few more months, huh? Thank you republican Governor Tim Pawlenty. You know what is wrong with Minnesota? P(aw)lenty.

BTW Thank you again TPMtv for what you do.

Daily Tubes March 30 and 31, 2009

It has been a very rough month for me. I think I keep saying that, but it has been very, very bad for me. I have pretty much lost my sense of humor and that is my best indication that I am not doing well. I imagine that I am not alone. I do hope that April is better…
