Things are looking very grim for republicans these days. Their brand is at one of it’s lowest points in history. Gallup reports that only 34% of Americans have a favorable view of republicans and 61% have an unfavorable view of the party.
Why so low? Well, they have really messed things up in our country, and they now seem to be at war with each other. And their standard bearer, who exactly will lead the repubumblicans out of the desert?
By all account this woman is leading the pack.
November 19, 2008 in 100 seconds. Do you watch too much news?
Heh. An Onion a day…
I like these. If you do not, let me know.
If you can watch the wwhhhoooole thing, you get a lollypop.
Today the Senate Democrats voted to allow the only candidate elected on the Connecticut for Leiberman ticket, to continue to caucus with the Democrats and keep the Chairmanships of Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committees, in spite of his unparalleled support for the republican candidate for President in 2008.
Salon reports today that the Senate was in a very forgiving mood, as both Leiberman and Stevens were given love taps by their respective collegues.
Lame-duck lawmakers hadn’t been back in town 24 hours Tuesday morning before they let Joe Lieberman off with a slap on the wrist, in a Democratic meeting closed to the public.

Lieberman…was McCain’s constant companion on the campaign trail all year; he spoke at the GOP convention, belittled Obama, endorsed various Republicans and generally behaved like, well, a guy who was asking to be tossed out of his party.
I love these guys. They make the work easier.
Sarah Palin = Evita!
The Rachel Maddow Show has been on MSNBC since September 8, 2008. As far as I am concerned Maddow is the best news show on television. She is also only second to Keith Olbermann in ratings. Who says there isn’t a huge market out there in progressive America.
I thought that Andrea Mitchell’s sources on the SOS appointment were high level Obama aids. I was a bit surprised to see a bit of a turn on Matthews and Olbermann. They need to wrap this appointment up now.
For your entertainment pleasure I offer the strange world of Mooses
Lately Chris Matthews has been rocking my world.
‘Nuff said.
I am kind of bummed today. I am missing something very important to me, and am not sure when I will find it again. You see, I must laugh often, and my favorite target is almost painfully absent.
I can be a bit too serious and have learned that I must seek out humor as much as I can. When I was a Child Protection Investigator, the need for humor was absolute. My favorite kind of humor has always been political, and it really is the only time I can make fun of people without feeling bad.
Suddenly I am lost. Suddenly there isn’t really anyone to laugh at in politics. I am not a mean person, but my most aggressive and evil tendencies do come out during elections. Herein lies my conundrum.
