I don’t know if you will get this letter. I am not sure if anything is getting through anymore. The fighting has been bad and we have lost too many good soldiers over these past few months.

Brit has organized the EU nations against the terrible threat, and they are fighting the enemy effectively and very bravely. Brit has in fact sent his precious son into enemy lines.

I fear for my friend Stipes. I have not heard from him in so long. My greatest hope is that he is well. I had been worried about Canadian Gal, but I heard across the tubes that she is winning some major battles. Spacemanspiff, my brother in arms, has inflicted massive damage on the ground troops. All of my fellow warriors, Sricki, Ragekage  

Pat Buchanan is on a tear. He wants McCain and Palin to really put it to Obama, and sees nothing wrong with making Obama seem anti-American and very, very frightening.

I saw Pat on Hardball yesterday and today Chris Matthews dissected Buchanan and this approach. Matthews blew open, the largely successful tactic, of the the republican party to de-Americanize the Democratic candidate for the past twenty or more years. The exchange was amazing as Matthews dismissed Buchanan and we watched Pat’s head kind of explode. I will post the video if I can find it.

Since the republicans have been ramping this issue up over the past week, I have wondered why it is never a problem for the republican candidate for President to be associated with lunatics. And never forget, however cuddly Pat seems, he is a Right Wing Nut Job (RWNJ). See for yourself…

On Hardball today, Pat Buchanin said that Palin was absolutely right to bring up the the Ayers association with Obama. Interesting Pat. Let

In the spring of 2001, I had to go to a training with the other brand new Child Protection Investigator. Joe and I were hired within weeks of each other and we were force to attend the same computer system training (SSIS).

I hated Joe on sight. He was a retired Master Sgt in the US Army. I am pretty sure he hated me on sight as well. I was his antithesis. I am an out lesbian and a complete lefty.

The dreaded day came and we were off to Crookston. It is about a two hour drive from Walker and we started talking. Pretty soon we came to the topic of politics. I was fairly amazed to find that we agreed on many things. We were both kind of wrapping up the heinous assaults on our Constitution, and came to our conclusions. At the very moment I shouted the right wing caused this, Joe emphatically stated that the left wing were the culprits. Both of us were stunned into silence, and we both began to laugh.

We blew out all of the stereotypes about each other and became good friends. We always had each others back and we worked well together for almost three years. Just before he left the county in 2004, he took me aside and told me that I helped him become a Democrat, and that he was voting for John Kerry. I told him I didn’t do a thing, Bush did everything he could to lose Joe’s vote. He laughed hard. I haven’t talked to him for a long time and I miss him.

Ok maybe a little personal news, but what is that saying? If you don’t have anything good to say, don’t say anything at all…
