Tuesday February 10, 2009 in 100 seconds. I gotta tell you, I was getting really worried because TMPtv hadn’t posted The Day since Thursday. I am glad they are back.
Give me a freaking AMEN sisters and brothers!
Just when I was ready to give up on the Buffoon, he does this.
So this may be one of those diaries, to which I will creep back later and with deep humiliation, delete it in the dead of night. After all, it was written well after the witching hour. That being said, I am going on an ignorant rant. A temper tantrum without any maturity, restraint, or a single lick of information. For your viewing pleasure, feel free to watch my head explode.
Ok. That was not my head, but you begin get the idea.
Closer, but still, not quite right. I actually think my wounds are more self inflicted and I really don’t want to show tubes of people shooting themselves. So instead, I will try to explain.
I knew this would happen. The excitement of the primaries and the GE and the inauguration have succumbed to the swamp in our nations capital. I had hoped that President Obama would be more prepared for this.
Sometimes it just makes me want to watch Tila Tequila.
Or Jerry Springer. Is he still around or has he been elected to something?
Dick Cheney spoke to Politico’s Mike Allen this morning.
From the interview, Dick said:
Obviously I am one who believes it is a tougher world out there, and the United States needs to be not so much loved, as it needs to be respected, and we need to from time to time use military force or all of the resources at our command, in order to defend the nation and defend our friends. Sometimes that requires us to take actions that that, umm generate controversy.
I am not at all sure that’s what the Obama Administration believes. I think there probably are some who actually believe if we just go talk nice to these folks everything is going to be ok. I (audio blip? I assume=don’t) believe the world works that way.
Wowie. All of these Federal employees are treating the new bosses like liberators. First State and now Justice. Does it kinda make you wonder why? Tuesday February 3, 2009 in 100 seconds.
The republicans don’t seem quite so enthusiastic about the new guy and his ideas.
“Dude, they are just not that into you!” (Stolen from Rachel Maddow, who kinda stole it from a lame movie). Here is one reason.
Okaaaay. He must have forgotten about all of the contractors in Iraq as well.
I haven’t done a tubing diary since Monday. That sick feeling I had in my tummy has remained. I don’t like the House stimulus bill. There! I said it! It helps that President Obama seems to find it lacking as well. What is it missing? Perhaps Rachael says it best,
Does this turn anyone else on? I am attracted to really big brains, wrapped in beautiful bodies, who are funny, witty, and self deprecating. She fits all of those requirement. Sorry Angelina, but I think I may have a new favorite pretend girlfriend. I hope you don’t mind sharing. Thank goodness Jody doesn’t.
My partner thought that she was Italian until she was 36 years old. Her name is Italian and she beautiful in a Sophia Loren sort of way, so this was never questioned. This Ani’s story and I asked her if I could write about it. She had no problem, but I will try to protect her anonomity as best as I can, and hope that I can relate her experience adequitely.
Former Rep. Dick Armey (R-Texas) still needs some lessons in etiquette.
Armey, who once referred to fellow Rep. Barney Frank as “Barney Fag,” lost his temper during an appearance with Salon editor in chief Joan Walsh on MSNBC’s Hardball Wednesday, and lashed out, saying:
I am so damn glad that you could never be my wife, ’cause I surely wouldn’t have to listen to that prattle from you every day.
Joan responded, “Well, that makes two of us.” She’ll have more to say in her blog later on.
The insanity starts around 6 minutes, but the entire exchange is very interesting.
I long for the day when we no longer need to deal with Dicks.
